John and Angie were both great hosts! We stayed in the Madam's room for two nights. This place really does take you back to the old west. We loved hearing the sound of the train from our room, as well as having breakfast downstairs in their awesome bakery. Highly recommend!
The Red Garter Inn is icing on the cake of a wonderful little town called Williams. It compliments the town well and the whole area has a feel like you're going back in time. The Red Garter is ran by a very nice gentleman named John and he's done a lot to make it very warm and comfortable. Our stay was very pleasant and the only thing you need to know is that all the rooms are on the second floor and there's a steep flight of stairs that were originally built in the 1800's for women with small feet. Carrying bags (as with any B&B) will be up to you but we didn't mind. Beautiful place, wonderful atmosphere and the surrounding restaurants and stores blend together nicely. (Don't forget to get a slice of pie from across the street!) Can't wait to go back. :-)
What a lovely and comfortable place to stay. Such history and ambiance. Angela and John are amazing hosts, full of information and kindness. Most fun and relaxing getaway that we've had in years! Thank you Angela and John. The chocolate chip cookies are a nice treat!
The Red Garter Where to begin.The first time my best friend came to visit in Ash Fork, AZ.I thought to myself that I must find for her the best cookie in Ash Fork, AZ even though no friends had suggestions for me.BEST ACCIDENTAL INTERNET FIND EVER.This cookie is seriously the best thing I've ever eaten.It's soot perfect.It's huge and subtly buttery with the most incredible texture.Not too sweet just sweet enough. Perfection in every bite.I take ALL my out of town guests here regardless of their objections or claims that they don't get that excited over cookies.
Perfect B&B in Grand Canyon area. Friendly owners and team, nice rooms, good breakfast - you do not need more to enjoy your stay.
