Hotel room itself was clean and up to date. Pool area was dirty though. Staff was polite and quick during check in and check out, as was the person stocking the breakfast area.
Breakfast options were sparse, but at least the area was clean. (Options were waffles, toast, or cereal.) Again, not shabby, but nothing to write home about.
Cute, clean, room. Comfortable beds. Gracious, helpful staff. Free continental breakfast. Indoor salt water pool and hot tub open until 11 which was convenient because we still had time to enjoy them after returning from the canyon. Would definitely recommend this place.
Biggest reason this review is 3 stars and not 4 is that they sneak in a $3.50 per day "service charge." It's not the service charge itself that is frustrating; rather, it is that it was never disclosed at check in. Also, I was not given a receipt under the door or at check out to see it. I became aware of it by calling the hotel after comparing the charge on my credit card statement to my booking information.
Again, not the end of the world, just a little shady in my opinion.
The room is pretty we'll kept. Just didn't like that the door connecting to the room next door has a broken lock. Other than that everything was fairly good.
Would I stay there again? Well, I wouldn't call this minor frustration a deal breaker. That being said, I wouldn't book here over another place in town solely based off of the amenities of a "free" breakfast and a pool.
This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! If I could give a zero star I would! When we got to the hotel the sheets were already dirty and the room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. During the night the guest's all around us were very noisy. Also the locks to get into the main buildings had tape on the doors so anyone could just walk right in. The "continental breakfast" was the very bad with few options. When my family checked out we complained and they basically told us that they don't care. Very unsatisfied I would NOT suggest staying there.
It was really nice, and the employees were doing their job. The breakfast was also really good.
