The staff were all courteous and efficient. When the train came in and a huge crowd of hotel guests queued up to check-in, the front desk was fully staffed and they worked through the line quickly. The rooms and bathroom were clean and had a decent amount of room. The lamp on the bedside table had two outlets to allow for recharging devices. The restaurant at the hotel was also great, although a bit pricey due to being a buffet. The staff at the restaurant were all friendly and attentive and the food was good for the most part.
A Great visit. Good food,friendly staff and very clean rooms. Large hotel, but you are not lost as a client. Great movement of luggage from hotel to the hotel in grand canyon. Tours are great for history,getting your bearing. The park staff are very good and friendly. Would visit again. Great for all ages.
A great experience at the hotel and train! The staff was very friendly, informative and accommodating. The amenities were great for our family, we were able to take advantage of the gym, pool, restaurant/ bar and everything else. The era appropriate style of the hotel and railway was spot on and beautiful. A cowboy shoot out, and a train robbery was a great topper to the whole experience.
Beautiful hotel. Very family oriented. We did the polar express experience. The kids absolutely loved it. Hotel was clean, quiet and staff was helpful. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful area and lots to do for kids and adults.
We had a great time we stayed here before our trip to the Grand Canyon and after the Grand Canyon. It was a quaint little hotel and had a nice old train on display and the food was pretty good. The rooms were clean and we didn't have any complaints. The buffet was okay, we bought the package so we had no choice. But the pancakes were hard as a rock the next morning but the chocolate milk was absolutely delicious the fresh omelette was very good and the bagel and cream cheese was okay. Next time I would leave out the food package and eat on our own.
