Great food, super service. I had NY steak, garlic home-made mashed potatoes, steak perfect. My wife had a great salmon dinner with rice pilaf. All nice and hot, but served timely. Liked it so much we came back for breakfast. Good too.
Vacationing Williams AZ my parents and I found it hard to find places to eat with good reviews and ratings. We didn’t want Chains or fast food so finding something local was to be a bit of a challenge if we wanted it more than 3 stars. Luckily we came across Pine Country Restaurant. Our first night it was super busy but we were willing to wait. I am so glad we did. If your looking for a meal to remind you of Home, or home cooked or something just easy on the stomach and fresh than this place has it. I was tired of fried, greasy quick meals on the road and missed ma’s cooking and this place helped me out. I had the roast beef dish and it came with a fresh salad , buns and butter and choice of side or choice of potato (I choose baked) it was delicatable I wished for seconds! My parents loved there meals as well. They also serve an abundance coffee shop drinks and a huge variety of pies. The atmosphere is one of family friendly and makes you feel ... well at home! Nice for a home away from home!
Wonderful place!! Great staff, great food. We ordered chili cheese fries, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, spicy wings, blueberry cream pie, Oreo sundae and a bowl of ice cream. Every thing was delicious. Every staff that we could see was great with each other and all customers. Worth the visit!!
Horrible....just horrible. I've been taught to not say anything if I don't have anything nice to say, but in this case I hope to be doing a public service. I don't know how this place got such a high rating. Maybe it changed owners or they got a new cook or 500 church friends helped them out with good reviews, but the food--not just one meal, but all three meals--were horrible. Breakfast burrito was mush...you know, when you constantly stir eggs as they scramble and the result is gelatinous mess, the pork chop was so overcooked that I had to help my wife cut it with a steak knife, and the cheese pizza was so bad that it had me wishing for school lunch pizza...I never knew that restaurant could buy government cheese, but apparently Pine Country Restaurant does. Top that off with a waitress as helpful as an ashtray on a motorcycle. Everything people were being served looked pretty bad. The pies looked good, but my we were all so turned off by the meal that we opted to skip desert. I wished we'd just gone there for pie. Oh well, be forewarned.
This place was great! Huge menu with lots of options. We didn't have room for dessert, but I'm pretty sure there were more than a half dozen pies listed. The atmosphere is very homey although it obviously caters to tourists with a gift shop. It's on our list of places to remember when we are back in the area.
