just a fast food fried chicken place for locals, have a $5 lunch menu now, and their pot pie is pretty good.
We then went through the drive through to finish up our order (grab food rest of the family). I ordered three tacos and a bean bouritto. I paid cash and did not receive a receipt until I requested one, but the receipt given only had the bean bouritto on it.
Ate the 2 piece Fill up box. Food was hot and ready before I got done paying for it. Restaurant lobby and restrooms were clean. Staff was friendly. They were doing interviews at the time and that was entertaining.
Since this location is in close proximity to the Grand Canyon, which is known as one of the seven wonders of the natural world, we thought they might need better management/oversight due to the amount of varied visitors from all over the world.
While waiting, I observed a member of the kitchen crew clean what appeared to be a sauce bottle with a rag from a bucket. I’m not sure which chemicals were being used, but it did not seem like common practice.
My wife took one of our children in to use the restroom and encountered someone throwing up in the bathroom. Due to the conditions she did not want to use the restroom or allow our child to use the facilities here.
My family and I were traveling through the area, and stopped at this KFC/ Taco Bell location around noon to get some lunch. I went into the restaurant and ordered three Taco Bell items (chicken bouritto, Doritos taco, and double decker taco), but the wait was approximately 45 minutes before I received my order. I paid in cash and was never given a receipt for the purchase.
Food was good. Service was fast. But the guy who took our order needs to wake the f $&? UP. He clearly does not wanna work here. And he clearly needs help with his customer service. I asked for 2 "soft" tacos and a potato burrito. When he ga e me hard tacos I said politely " sorry these are.supposed to be soft tacos". He looks at the ground, and in disgust tells me "in the future you need to say soft"...i told the guy " I did ask for soft. I know better cause I don't eat hard shell tacos. I order here all the time and I know what I ordered". He says, well replace it this time and grabs my tacos like he was gonna throw them on the ground. I just said thanks and moved on....
We ate the food (which was not good), went to the restroom elsewhere, and continued our journey disappointed with this location and the experience.
This Kfc has gotten so much better please stop by and see the difference the food the staff and the cleanliness has improved 100% keep up the good work !!
