I didn't stay in the hotel, just had a meal here. We ordered 3 adult meals with starters and 2 kids meals. We asked for the kids meals to come out with the starters. Which I thought would be a simple ask. For this place, no. The kids come out first followed by the starters and our mains come out all at the same time. So we felt we had to rush the starters to eat put mains before they got cold. Not only that they got one of the mains wrong. With no apology a different server to send out the correct main. All in all the food was nice just lacks in the service. We are on 10/23/17
Nice room but staff attitude is terrible. Check in lady could be confused with robot. No smile, no Hi. I scratched to blood my leg because of sharp metal hook near the bed under the fabric, electric power socket was missing the cover, dangerous for small kids and adults as well. All amenities was only for two, but I book and been charged for three - not enough towels. Coffee machine is present but no sugar or milk available on the room. WiFi was unusable slow. I have wrote to the hotel about our possible late check in but no one bothered to answer. Room itself his generously spacious, beds big and comfortable. Parking on site, nice veteran cars around the fuel pump.
I loved the location to the grand canyon- it was only about 30 minutes away and for the price you can't beat that. Also liked the restaurant especially their breakfast. (though it is not included) What I didn't like was our bed was super uncomfortable. I am not usually too picky with beds- but you could tell it was old and was very worn in. I woke up so sore. Also there was no fridge in the room. Shower only let out about half the water it should at a time because of calcium build up.. it did the job though. The room was clean and bathroom is huge.
It was a basic, satisfactory room. Everything was clean and comfortable. The wifi was slow and often did not allow images to download. The "cable" was actually five or six channels. The front desk staff really hates her job and dislikes interacting with guests. These things being true, the room was serviceable and fine. We appreciated that we were paying less than other hotels near the Grand Canyon and would stay here again.
Super nice friendly staff. Rooms are new and whole ambience is great and cozy. Looks like it was remodeled recently. Very welcoming southwest style place. Good restaurant and bar gives it a resort or upscale hostel feel. Low prices, too. I’ll be back.
Still rather stay somewhere else.
