Stop here for interesting photos of classic cars and such.
When you go there check out the walls on the inside of the service station. It's more than just a service station it's almost a part of History.
Clean restroom facilities and small food items (hot dogs, toquitos). A lot of different food are for sale here, but the prices are as expected for the entrance to the Grand Canyon (think Disney World-style exploitation). Still, some items are of decent quality and not too overpriced, making for an acceptable souviner in a pinch. The hot rods in from of the station are well-cared for and worth stopping by to see.
Tourist shop. Lots of stuff...some good. Worth a look.
Most excellent rest stop and old-timey gas and go on AZ-64, the gift shop is John Wayne and cowboys and cowgirls. The antique car show is outside at the gas pumps. Real gas can be purchased at the chevron station and the minimart stocks what fast and go, in and out shops stock. Boots, coats, memories, with the Mobil pumps next door competing for eyeballs via a cowboy sculpture garden and mineral park, this rest stop on the way to the canyon or back is worth the stop...
