This couple are so wonderful! I accidently left some items I had purchased behind and didn't notice until we had already left the area. I called the next day and they offered to have them shipped to me. Very accommodating and helpful. If you are headed up to see the Grand Canyon or Bed Rock stop there first they have the best prices!
So worth you stopping at! It is an actual trading post from Western times. Have a lot of gift shop/ souvenir items. Example post cards, tee shirts, sweatshirts, some Route 66 itmes just to name a few. The prices are great! And the individuals working there are friendly. Stop with a couple from the Netherlands who said they stop there every time they visit the Grand Canyon.... this was there 4th visit.
Shopping and looking around this store made my first trip to the Grand Canyon that much better!!! Not to mention, the Excellent prices and wide variety of things from true turquoise silver earrings to hand made local crafts, funny T shirts, pocket knives. This place is a must see and the bathroom is super nice and clean. The owner was very nice and helpful. If you have kids this is a great stop to take pics because of the trading post traditional decor outside. This trading post is a family owned and ran.
The blonde lady at the counter was so nice and kind at first until she accused my mom of stealing an item, even though we proved to her that we didn't she still kicked us out of the store and said that she could, "press charges" because she had an, "incriminating video". We should be pressing charges on her for harassment. Please don't go, the stuff inside isn't even worth it.
We were having casual conversation and we were looking around WILLING to buy something when the lady at the front walks up to us and acuses my friends mom of stealing and says they have cameras. His mom emptied out her pockets and insisted that she does a full body check. She says no and kicks us out. Horrible experience would not recommend.
