Do not stop here! Do not stay here! Family in room above us started literally jumping around their room @ 6am. We called the front desk 4 times. We asked them on the third call to call cops. They refused. Then they proceeded to call police when we asked for a refund on our room!
We ended up here by mistake, at 5:30 am and looking for Grand Canyon airport. Although the museum was still closed, we would like to visit it in the future.
We were rained out of camping and the hotels nearer the park were all full. We almost didn't take this hotel room because of the previous negative reviews. However, we did stay there after all. And found no problem at all with noise, we asked for one farther from the road, and also the second floor. It was clean and well maintained. Yes, it is an older place, but value for dollar, we got our money's worth and a good (dry) nights rest. Food in the attached restaurant was a surprise, son said it was the best hamburger he'd had in ages, and I really liked the trout. More expensive than we expected perhaps, but again good value. For the hotel, there were two tourist busses with german folks staying, they do get up and leave early, but most were older and quiet. Watch out for the smokers, tho.
